SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

When will my order ship?

Most in-stock items are ready to ship in 2-3 business days, while out of stock or "pre-order" items can take 4-6 weeks. You will receive a shipping notification via email when your order ships. 

As a handmade, one woman shop, everything is packaged and shipped by yours truly. If I foresee any delays in the above timelines, I will notify you immediately, and if the timeline doesn't work for you I will be happy to offer a full refund.  

What does "Preorder Now" mean at checkout?

I am a one woman shop, and each piece relies on my hands to be completed.  I do my best to keep inventory in my studio, but sometimes pieces sell out before I can replenish them.  If you see a "Preorder Now" button instead of an "Add to Cart" button at checkout, this just means that I don't currently have any completed pieces of this style ready to be put in the mail immediately.  A restock is in progress, though, and you will recieve your item as soon as it is complete.  

When you choose to preorder an option (and thank you for doing that!), I will send you an email clarifying the timeline of the piece you've chosen.  You are always welcome to email me at Krista.Knickerbocker@gmail.com to get the timeline prior to purchasing.  

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Returns

Can I return an item?

I want you to be thrilled with your purchase, but I also know that it doesn’t always work out, so you’re welcome to return a piece.  Please contact me immediately at krista.knickerbocker@gmail.com if you feel there is a problem that needs to be addressed with your order, and I will promptly work with you to come to a solution.  Provided you send back a piece within 10 days of receiving it, and that it arrives in its original condition and in its original packaging, I will happily issue a full refund (not including the original shipping charges) right away.  

Basically, I'm the type of person who apologizes to inanimate objects when I bump into them, and I take pride in the pieces that I make, so I will for sure work with you to correct any issues and/or issue a refund.

Can I exchange an item?

I am happy to work with you to fix or replace a piece if it has been damaged due to normal wear and tear.  I try to only make pieces of the highest quality, but I am known to make mistakes and am more than willing to correct those. 

If you would like an exchange due to any other reason than what's listed above, this will have to be done within two weeks of the item being shipped, and the item will need to be returned in its original condition and in its orginal packaging.  I know if you purchase a piece as a gift for someone, you will want to make sure the recipient can swap it out if it's just not their style, I completely understand.  This two week timeline should allow plenty of time to give the gift and ensure that the recipient loves it!

How do I get my refund if I return an item?

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you.  Upon approval, a credit will be applied immediately to your original method of payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. It may take approximately 5-10 business days for your bank to process the refund before the funds apply to your account. 

Misc

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, we do. These are issued electronically by email and each contains a unique reference number. Our gift vouchers are ideal if you’re not sure what to get that special person in your life. Simply buy a gift voucher instead for any value you choose. 

Do you offer adjustments?

If you need a size correction, please e-mail and I will be happy to adjust your piece to get it fitting perfectly. You will be in charge of shipping costs back to my studio, and I will cover the shipping back to you once the sizing is finished.
